Mary does workshops

Mary Barry has a diverse educational and work history that comprises three decades of performing and teaching workshops in a variety of settings, including music, theatre and storytelling festivals, conferences, international symposia and as a visiting artist in the schools. From Mayne Island to Gros Morne via the Academy of Arts and Sciences in Gulf Shores, Alabama, Barry has spent her career traveling as both an educator and performer, fortunate and grateful to be able to traverse both worlds. Whether it is mentoring high school students in performance and songwriting techniques, conducting music and puppetry workshops for all-ages or giving lectures, her experiences as an artist/educator have given her multiple opportunities to communicate her lifelong passion for music, theatre and storytelling all the while embracing linguistic and cultural differences.
